What types of portrait photography do you specialise in?

Where are portrait photography sessions typically held?

Most portrait photo sessions take place on location. Steve brings the studio to you — all that is needed is a suitable space in your office, home or other place of work. Sessions can also take place in any outdoor space.

How can I prepare for a portrait session?

Make sure you allow enough time for the session. Wear clothing that makes you feel comfortable and confident, and consider bringing a couple of outfit options. A prop can sometimes be appropriate. Steve will take time to put you at ease throughout the entire process to ensure the images capture your true personality.

Will I get to see and choose the images?

Yes. Wherever possible Steve shoots tethered, meaning the camera is connected to a laptop so you can see images immediately on screen. Throughout the session you can review images together and choose camera angles, lighting, and poses.

How long does a typical portrait session last?

For large corporate sessions, the schedule is set by the client, with at least 10–15 minutes per subject. For individual portraits or headshots, sessions last between 1–2 hours including set-up time.

Is retouching included?

All images require post production including basic adjustments such as tone, brightness, and RAW file conversion. Post processing is charged at a fixed rate. Please note retouching is not included in the standard post processing rate.

What is involved in a food photography shoot?

Food photography shoots require as much space as possible to position lights and equipment. Steve brings the studio to your location and adjusts the set-up to suit the available space, making the process smooth with minimum disruption to your business.

Do you offer food photography for both commercial clients and individuals?

Yes. Food photography services are available for a wide range of clients including restaurants, food bloggers, chefs, food brands, and individuals.

Can I use the photos across all media?

Yes, clients receive full usage rights to the photos for their intended purposes, including advertising, marketing, social media, websites, and print materials. High-resolution images are provided optimised for both digital and print applications.

There is a degree of storytelling in every photograph. A series of images can explore a particular theme or process in greater depth, telling a story that is as relevant in a corporate context as it is in raising awareness or campaigning.

Professional headshot sessions typically range from £195 for a single portrait to £550 for a half day on location, depending on the number of people and usage requirements.

Are you available for photography work outside of London?
