Welcome to Steve Franck Photography. I’ve been a full time freelance photographer since 2008. I create editorial and environmental portraits and lifestyle images for a variety of clients. I also photograph food and I offer photography tuition and workshops in London.
I’m an experienced photographer providing a professional service and high-quality images that get my clients noticed. Most of the work I create is produced on location and even though I’m based in London, I work wherever the job takes me, both within the UK or overseas.

Food Photography
Images of food are shared widely in print, online and across many varied social media platforms so it’s important to make those images stand out. Showcasing your food at its best is an integral part of any food or catering business. My own love of food and cooking inevitably merged with my passion for photography and I’ve been photographing food on location for over 10 years. By bringing the studio to your place of work, whether that’s a high-end restaurant, local cafe, or even a home kitchen or dining room I’m able to produce high quality, professional images without the costs associated with shooting in a dedicated studio. That way all the ingredients and the props used for styling are fresh and authentic, and reflect the true character of your food.
Storytelling
Stories are at the heart of communication and a well told story can have a powerful impact. My commitment to raising awareness of social issues has allowed me to document moments that explore our shared humanity. Visual narratives are instrumental in raising awareness, promoting dialogue, and hopefully inspiring positive action. All photography carries an element of storytelling, and it is the foundation of my own approach to creating any image or series of images.
